Is PressBot really free?

Yes, the free version includes the full chatbot, knowledge base, setup wizard, and read-only MCP server. Pro adds the Admin Agent, Scheduled Automations, Telegram, WooCommerce tools, Analytics, and Shield. Pro/Business/Agency differ only by number of sites.

What does BYOK mean? How much does AI cost?

Bring Your Own Key. You connect your Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenAI (GPT), or DeepSeek API key. A typical visitor conversation costs fractions of a cent. DeepSeek is the lowest-cost public chatbot option in this release. No per-message fees from PressBot.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes. Upgrades are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. You can cancel anytime from your Freemius account.

Do I get updates and support?

Pro users receive automatic updates through Freemius and priority email support. PressBot is updated weekly with new features and improvements.

Does PressBot work with my theme and plugins?

PressBot works with any WordPress theme. The chatbot widget is self-contained and doesn't interfere with your site's design. Compatible with all major page builders and caching plugins.
