Why we built it

We kept bolting chatbots onto sites that didn’t understand them.

Every AI assistant we tried was a generic chat widget bolted onto WordPress with no understanding of the platform underneath. They couldn’t read your posts, didn’t know your products, and charged monthly fees just to proxy API calls you could make yourself.

So we built PressBot — an AI assistant that’s WordPress-native from the ground up. The visitor chatbot reads your actual content and answers with your specific knowledge. The admin agent talks directly to WordPress through 99 purpose-built tools across four channels — the dashboard, Telegram, visitor chatbot, and MCP for AI coding tools.

And because your AI costs should be transparent, PressBot uses a Bring Your Own Key model. Your API keys stay encrypted on your server. You pay Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or DeepSeek directly at their published rates. We never touch your API spend, never proxy your traffic, and never see your conversations.
